The rumors are now getting fierce but partially supported by trusted sources. It is being argued that on January 26, 2010 Apple will be making a significant product announcement. Apple has rented the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, in late January.  When questioned, both the Yerba Buena Center and Apple declined to comment as to the nature of the event.

Over the last few hours I have been focusing on a few conversations. These talks claim that Apple has asked developers to create applications that will support full-screen resolution. What might this mean – perhaps the imminent product release of a 10.1″ Apple Tablet?

The Financial Times quoted Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster, as saying

“We believe there is a 75 percent likelihood that Apple will have an event in January and a 50 percent chance that it will be held to launch the Apple Tablet,” Munster continued by stating, “If Apple announced the Tablet in January, it would likely ship later in the March quarter.”

So after all the speculation, conjecture and insider information we still sit here at the end of 2009, uncertain. If history is any indication, if nothing else, we will see a product announcement – maybe the rumored 5MP camera in the next iPhone?
